How do I apply?

You've done the research, met with your advisors, talked about it endlessly with your friends, and now you are ready to apply for a Global Experience.

So, what's next? This page will take you through the necessary steps to complete your application for Global Study, Global Classroom, international summer or research experiences.

Important dates

Applications open

October 1, 2026 for all programs in the upcoming Spring 2027, and the 2027–28 academic year.

Deadlines

November 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. for Spring/Summer 2027 programs.

January 12, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. for Fall 2027/Winter 2028 semester programs.

If any programs have spots open past the deadlines, applications will be taken on a rolling basis until spots are filled, or until July 2, 2027.

Deadline: October 19, 2026

Your academic advisor should be aware of your intention to incorporate Global Experiences into your academic journey. 

Contact your advisor before applying so you have a good understanding of everything that could factor into your choice of program and when you might go abroad.

Many Global Experiences are competitive. But don't worry! To improve your chances, we recommend applying for three programs and ranking them in your order of preference. Most students can be accepted to one of their top three.
