Get ready to engage in research with this badge program that covers everything from how to choose a topic to managing a research project.
UREX Summer
Spend a summer doing research with an on-campus mentor. Funding is available for 8, 12, or 16 weeks.
UREX Awards
Receive up to $7,500 with a UREX Award to do a summer research project. Open to UCalgary students from all faculties.
Interested in transdisciplinary research?
The Institutes for Transdisciplinary Scholarship support 10 UREX Awards each year that transcend disciplinary boundaries and focus on complex and societally relevant questions, challenges and problems. Transdisciplinary scholarship involves diverse academic disciplines and non-academic community partners using a process of collaboration, co-creation, and knowledge transformation.
