Ambassadors are current students who are passionate about helping others customize their UCalgary journeys with signature learning experiences like study abroad, undergraduate research, work-integrated learning and more.

It's more than just a volunteer role.
At the Office of Signature Learning Experiences, Ambassadors manage our front desk and provide peer advising throughout the week, where they guide students on available programs, application and eligibility processes, and funding opportunities. They support with promotional events and practice storytelling as a way of sharing their own unique experiences with the UCalgary community. Along the way, they participate in a training program to develop key intercultural competencies and professional skills.
Being an Ambassador is a great way to practice your leadership, public speaking, community building, and personal management. It also connects you with like-minded students, helps you build social and professional networks at UCalgary, and gives valuable experience for your future studies or career!
